Born from the adrenaline of the Edinburgh Fringe and now based in Shepperton – near Europe’s biggest film complex – and ideally located in Derbyshire, 808 Create delivers lighting and technical production for television, live events, podcasts, comedy and immersive experiences with that same energy.

INDEPENDENT BY DESIGN

We’re independent and brand agnostic. We don’t start with what’s on the shelf. We start with what the production needs, then bring together the right technology, equipment and brilliant people to make it work.

Some clients need a complete technical solution. Others need experienced specialists who can integrate seamlessly into an existing team. We do both. We never take for granted the trust our clients place in us. It keeps us curious, engaged and committed to delivering exceptional work on every project.

WHERE CREATIVE MEETS TECHNICAL

808 Create was founded by Anna and Paul Evans in 2013, after years of working together across the entertainment industry. Paul brings decades of lighting experience, from Adele at the Palladium and BBC Glastonbury to working alongside some of the industry’s leading lighting designers, coupled with an instinct for technology and an endless curiosity for what it can do.

Anna brings the creative, commercial and production thinking that shapes the bigger picture having worked in comedy and for major publishing houses and TV studios. Together, they’ve built 808 to combine serious technical know-how with fresh thinking and a constant eye on what’s next.

ALWAYS LOOKING FORWARD

Production doesn’t stand still and neither do we. We’re constantly exploring new technology and smarter, more sustainable ways to design and deliver, from the stage and studio to YouTube, virtual production and whatever comes next.

That thinking extends to sustainability too. We look for better ways to reduce energy, waste and unnecessary transport without compromising what the production demands.
