Operations Coordinator
808 Create Ltd. is a small, but fast growing TV, Film and Event crewing agency based in Shepperton Surrey. We provide studios and productions with qualified lighting crew.
Clients include Versa Studios, BBC Studioworks, and the Royal Albert Hall. We work on some of the UK’s most well-known TV shows and events across the UK and are passionate about getting new people into a thriving and exciting industry.
808 Create is looking for a motivated and conscientious Operations Coordinator to join our team. In essence, the role is to help crew lighting and production freelance contractors, staff and technical resources to various TV and Event jobs. The successful candidate can do the majority of this role from home, but will also be asked to go to meetings at various studios / locations pre-dominantly in or around London and be able to get to Shepperton Surrey easily.

ROLE OF THE JOB
Maintaining and updating crew schedules, verifying the availability of crew for planned work
Answering clients’ scheduling queries via email and phone
Keep stakeholders informed of crewing and schedule changes
Managing enquiries from lighting professionals looking for work
Aiding Directors with budgets, sending invoices to clients and invoices from suppliers
Finding new opportunities for 808 Create to provide crew to studios and productions
Updating internal systems and databases
Uploading bills and general bookkeeping using Xero accounting software
SKILLS NEEDED
An eye for detail. This role is like a ‘air-traffic controller’ of lighting crew
Well-organised, forward-thinking, solution-focused approach
People person – good at managing different personalities and pressures
Excellent IT skills including proficient using Xero and Microsoft Office
Confident, hardworking and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Willing to come up with improved processes and workflows
Resilient, you keep your cool under pressure
Knowledge of lighting equipment and practices an advantage, but not essential
DETAILS OF THE JOB
This role is a part-time role Monday, Wednesday and Friday office hours. Pay dependent on experience. 30 days holiday per annum + pension.
